Harry Shearer Will Not Return for Season 27 of The Simpsons
Shearer is best known for doing the voices for the characters Ned Flanders, Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner, Smithers, Lenny, and many more. According to Shearer, they could not reach a contract agreement because he wanted “the freedom to do other work.”
There has been no comment on what the future holds for the each of the characters that he voiced. What will the world be like without Ned Flanders?
